Will Bournemouth A.F.C be the surprise team this season ????

So every year we see a new team come to the Prem and take it by storm in recent history alone we've had Swansea , Stoke and even Leicester make there mark on the Premier League. This Year I believe Bournemouth will be the ones to do just that since nearly going out of the football league in the 2008-2009 season Bournemouth have climbed the leagues at a fanatic pace and last season capped it off with a promotion to the Premier League by winning the championship title. There brand of nice passing football with a hint of pace and power is one to be admired and there will to win was proven last season with there never say never rise to the top of the table.

Every great team has a leader and Bournemouth's is Eddie Howe the former player turn manager has guided Bournemouth to the Premier League via a brief spell at Burnley he has been the man to take them from the bottom of League football all the way to the Premier League still in his 30's at the tender age of 37 Howe is showing the promise to be a great manager and if his form carries on we could be looking at a similar story to Brendan Rodgers lets not forget he started at Swansea before he got his big break.

So why do I hype them ? well apart from having a badge that my mate reckons looks like an Italian shampoo advert (don't ask me why) and the fact that me and my bro are doing a career with them on Fifa 15(just signed Alex Song Btw) they actually play really good football, last season they made Dean Court a fortress only losing 3 games any team with a solid home foundation has a chance in the Prem and if they can carry that form forward they will give the big teams a headache that's for sure. There also not afraid to score having scored over 90 goals last season and only conceding a modest 45 they no how to work both ends of the pitch. They also have a good core with Boruc in goal a keeper with Champions League experience Andrew Surman a player who's no stranger to the Premier League and Callum Wilson the strong and pacey goal scorer who netted 23 goals last season and has already started this season with a hat trick against West Ham they certainly have a chance and with hard work and dedication to the cause there no reason why they can't survive relegation this season.

Overall I really do Believe they have the chance to not only survive but also surprise. Who do you think Will be the best promotion team let me no in the comments below :)

Thanks

Daniele Rugani

So if there's one thing we all no its that Italians no how to defend they've turned it into an art form and really teach us the importance of technical defending. So it's no surprise that I'm writing a blog about a young Italian defender it's almost expected however the lad in question is Daniele Rugani and I'm going to explain why you should remember the name.

Daniele was born in Lucca which is a city in Tuscany and it's there were he started his journey signing for Empoli at the age of 6 years old yes 6 years old I was playing with pokemon cards at 6 years old although i did get a shiny Charizard so yeah........ He stayed with Empoli for 12 seasons working his way up the ranks before he got noticed by Juventus who took him on loan, after a successful season with Juve's youth leavel they decided to go in on a co-ownership deal then immediately loan him back out to Empoli. It was this move that changed everything going on loan to Empoli gave Rugani the chance to play first team football and that's exactly what he did starring in Empoli's promotion push as they finished 2nd in Serie B and to top it off Rugani even won the best player of Serie B 2014.
Then the real test came and this season at 20 years old Rugani began his first Serie A campaign no one had huge hope's for Empoli but they managed to finish 15th and Rugani was again the stand out performer Juve again acted quickly and brought him outright for around 5 million he now heads back to Juventus ready to challenge the likes of Bonucci and Chiellini to a first team place.

So whats he all about ? Is this all Just media hype ?

Well lets look at the facts Rugani is a smart thinking technical defender having played over 3,400 minutes in Serie A last season he didn't even receive a single booking  now you could argue that he doesn't like to get stuck in but with a stat of  an average of 1.3 tackles per game I beg to differ specially when Bonucci of Juventus was averaging 1.0 tackles per game. This lad is class he has good height strong running even if he's not the fastest plus he is composed on the ball and doesn't seemed to be phased on any stage he plays. Juventus have really done some smart business with this kid and I expect in a couple of months time people will be starting to realize what a player he is International caps are not far away and when you think Juventus only paid around 5 million for him it really makes me think that the other teams have missed out you only have to look at someone like John Stones who again is a class player and has Chelsea bidding 20 million plus for him it's safe to say Juventus have grabbed a bargain and I believe Rugani will go onto huge things.

Thanks Guys let me no what you think :)

Italian Football Back On The Rise !!!!

So yes the new season is with us the and the whirlwind that is the transfer window has opened. As always the Premier League is taking center stage with a host of activity something I'll be writing about soon but at the minute it's Serie A I want to talk about.
Last Season we saw Juventus reach the Final of the champions league and with that I believe we may see the awakening of the Italian game. For the last couple of years players have almost forgotten it's an option with the big players seeking alternatives like Germany and Spain a far cry from the 90's when Serie A was the league to be in. However I'm betting it will make a come back and win back its 4th Champions League spot from the coefficient.

Now I no you're going to be reading this thinking really have you not seen the signings that have been going on else where and yes, yes I have but there's been a slight change in the tide and Italian teams are snapping up players that wouldn't of gone there in the past look at Kondogbia for example he chose Inter Now a couple of seasons ago he would of chose the Premier League for sure same goes with Dybala  he had Chelsea sniffing around but he stayed in Italy and there not the only ones Miranda once converted by United now at Inter even last season with Alvaro Morata choosing Juventus it was a big coup for the league.

So what am I getting at ? well basically I think Italian football is making a come back, now it will be along time till it gets the money that the Premier League does but with the home grown rule coming into effect in the Premier league and the Rise of teams like Juventus I reckon we will see more and more players showcasing there talents on Italian soil. Plus With Juventus now winning the League four times in a row the other big teams in that league will be doing everything they can to topple them from there throne's.

Whats do you guys think is Italian football on the rise ? let me no you'r thoughts below

Thanks :)
