Daniele Rugani

So if there's one thing we all no its that Italians no how to defend they've turned it into an art form and really teach us the importance of technical defending. So it's no surprise that I'm writing a blog about a young Italian defender it's almost expected however the lad in question is Daniele Rugani and I'm going to explain why you should remember the name.

Daniele was born in Lucca which is a city in Tuscany and it's there were he started his journey signing for Empoli at the age of 6 years old yes 6 years old I was playing with pokemon cards at 6 years old although i did get a shiny Charizard so yeah........ He stayed with Empoli for 12 seasons working his way up the ranks before he got noticed by Juventus who took him on loan, after a successful season with Juve's youth leavel they decided to go in on a co-ownership deal then immediately loan him back out to Empoli. It was this move that changed everything going on loan to Empoli gave Rugani the chance to play first team football and that's exactly what he did starring in Empoli's promotion push as they finished 2nd in Serie B and to top it off Rugani even won the best player of Serie B 2014.
Then the real test came and this season at 20 years old Rugani began his first Serie A campaign no one had huge hope's for Empoli but they managed to finish 15th and Rugani was again the stand out performer Juve again acted quickly and brought him outright for around 5 million he now heads back to Juventus ready to challenge the likes of Bonucci and Chiellini to a first team place.

So whats he all about ? Is this all Just media hype ?

Well lets look at the facts Rugani is a smart thinking technical defender having played over 3,400 minutes in Serie A last season he didn't even receive a single booking  now you could argue that he doesn't like to get stuck in but with a stat of  an average of 1.3 tackles per game I beg to differ specially when Bonucci of Juventus was averaging 1.0 tackles per game. This lad is class he has good height strong running even if he's not the fastest plus he is composed on the ball and doesn't seemed to be phased on any stage he plays. Juventus have really done some smart business with this kid and I expect in a couple of months time people will be starting to realize what a player he is International caps are not far away and when you think Juventus only paid around 5 million for him it really makes me think that the other teams have missed out you only have to look at someone like John Stones who again is a class player and has Chelsea bidding 20 million plus for him it's safe to say Juventus have grabbed a bargain and I believe Rugani will go onto huge things.

Thanks Guys let me no what you think :)

Italian Football Back On The Rise !!!!

So yes the new season is with us the and the whirlwind that is the transfer window has opened. As always the Premier League is taking center stage with a host of activity something I'll be writing about soon but at the minute it's Serie A I want to talk about.
Last Season we saw Juventus reach the Final of the champions league and with that I believe we may see the awakening of the Italian game. For the last couple of years players have almost forgotten it's an option with the big players seeking alternatives like Germany and Spain a far cry from the 90's when Serie A was the league to be in. However I'm betting it will make a come back and win back its 4th Champions League spot from the coefficient.

Now I no you're going to be reading this thinking really have you not seen the signings that have been going on else where and yes, yes I have but there's been a slight change in the tide and Italian teams are snapping up players that wouldn't of gone there in the past look at Kondogbia for example he chose Inter Now a couple of seasons ago he would of chose the Premier League for sure same goes with Dybala  he had Chelsea sniffing around but he stayed in Italy and there not the only ones Miranda once converted by United now at Inter even last season with Alvaro Morata choosing Juventus it was a big coup for the league.

So what am I getting at ? well basically I think Italian football is making a come back, now it will be along time till it gets the money that the Premier League does but with the home grown rule coming into effect in the Premier league and the Rise of teams like Juventus I reckon we will see more and more players showcasing there talents on Italian soil. Plus With Juventus now winning the League four times in a row the other big teams in that league will be doing everything they can to topple them from there throne's.

Whats do you guys think is Italian football on the rise ? let me no you'r thoughts below

Thanks :)

Will Chelsea Give Loftus-Cheek Chance ?

So everyone that watched the Chelsea game at the weekend would of noticed that Chelsea Played a Young Lad by the name of Ruben Ira Loftus-Cheek he played 60 minutes in midfield so what did we think ?

Well before we answer that here's a little background information for you about the lad.
Loftus-Cheek is no new face to Chelsea he's actually been there since he was 8 years old which means he's already had an 11 year association with the club he's worked his way up the ranks winning various youth Level honors including the UEFA Youth Cup the Under 21's premier league and he even Captained the youth team to the FA youth Cup so as you can see he is a player that is already building a winning mentality and is ready for the step up to the first team. His playing style is very gracious and stylish and there's a slight resemblance to Pogba in the way he plays he seems to mainly operate as a deep lying play maker however with his frame and physical presence he's a threat in both ends of the box. He's always calm on the ball and has an eye for the pass his defensive work is top notch and he has no problems holding his own physically overall he is a really exciting prospect and one that could really become a big name. The Question is will that be at Chelsea ? With players like Pogba and Sami Khedira becoming available this summer players like Loftus-Ckeek can be over looked for the more glamours name so will he get his chance at Chelsea ?
My opinion is I hope he does there's nothing better than seeing a young local player coming through and making a name for himself it's a risk and it could backfire but whats football with out risk ? His first start at the weekend was a solid start he did his job didn't lose the ball and had 100% pass accuracy so he's already showing his composure now I know a lot of you will say yeah but that game meant nothing Chelsea were already champions and maybe you have a point , but that game was his first start so it would of meant something to him he would of been excited yet he still gave a solid and mature performance and fit into the first 11 like he had been playing there all season. Overall I suppose time will tell but I Believe he has all the qualities to succeed now he just needs the chance.

What do you think ? let me no in the comments below :)

Jose Mourinho Premier League Champion Once Again !!!!

So this weekend just been Chelsea won the Premier League it's been a great season for Mourinho and his men and one I'm sure they will remember. In many ways its been a coin like season from Chelsea as we've seen two different sides to them. With the first half of the season been unstoppable and the second half being unbeatable Chelsea have really split opinions on there march to the top.
But before we get carried away and jump on the boring boring Chelsea chant I think the fairest thing to do is break it down to two sections 2014 Chelsea and 2015 Chelsea.

From the beginning of the season when they played Burnley Chelsea and Cesc Fabregas in particular Threw Down they was playing unbelievable football they were fast powerful and was scoring at will they looked a team to be reckoned with and quite frankly ran away as early favorites. You had to wait until  December before they lost a game in the league. They were playing fantastic football and was really looking a formidable team. Players like Costa, Hazard and Fabregas were tearing teams apart and at the back the defense was solid. The first half of the season they proved they could entertain and everyone was loving the football they played.

Then as the second half of the season came around and the games started to pile up their form started to fall and they didn't look as cutting as they did at the beginning that coupled with injuries to Costa their top goal scorer and they started to look like they were lacking that power they once had But Drogba Came in and at 36 led the line like a Legend working hard for the team and always fighting till the end something that he has in conman with his Manager see that's the Genius of Mourinho when form is falling and the games are getting harder and harder this is wear he and all the great managers earn their titles. Why ? you ask well it's been well documented in the media that Chelsea became Boring and defensive as the season wound down but I don't see a problem with it winning is winning and that's all that matters. Any Manager can Ride the success of a team on form but the great managers get results when the team isn't playing well and that's what Mourinho did now don't get me wrong he got a lot of help from Eden Hazard who second part of the season really stepped up and he earned his PFA Player Of The Year Award but all championship winning team needs a star player and Both Hazard and Mourinho utilized that. I suppose what I'm saying is all teams have highs and lows moments were the football is awesome and there tearing teams apart and then they have moments when they scrape by 1-0 but that's the nature of the game and the best managers recognize that and win any way possible. Don't get me wrong when Man United Played Chelsea at the bridge last month I was going crazy as a united fan I couldn't believe we didn't win and at the time I was stressing like mad but afterwards I admit if Man Utd won the title like that next year would I complain ? no I wouldn't lol So you have to give Chelsea credit for what they've done.

Any Thoughts our Comments people let me Know :)

Jurgen Klopp Whats Next ?

So last night Jürgen Klopps Dortmund Beat Bayern Munich in a penalty shoot out to book their place in the German cup final. It was Jürgen Klopp's last game against Bayern and it was quite fitting that even though Dortmund struggled in the first half they stayed with Bayern all the way to the end and won on penalties it almost summed up Klopp and his character his team has been built on passion flair and a determination never to give up. Always fighting the odds Jürgen Klopp has gone down a legend leading the fight against Bayern's domination and managing to win two league titles a German cup maybe even as second this season and getting to the champs league final he did all this on a small budget and constantly losing his players mainly to Bayern which lets be honest must of been so annoying me personally I would be going crazy.

However a couple of weeks ago he shocked the world by announcing that he would be leaving Dortmund at the end of this season. Since then Dortmund have already announced his successor and been very efficient and not let the whole process drag out however the Future of Jürgen Klopp is still up in the air, were will he go next ?

A lot of people I speak to believe he is going to come to the Premier League and as much as I would like that to happen you have to wonder were he will go because at the end of the day other than Maybe Man City the rest of the Premier League manager's look pretty safe in there jobs so it got me thinking were will he go ? Then I read a headline that made me laugh but then once I thought about it stuck in my mind. and scared me a little lol

Franz Beckenbauer stated that Klopp would fit in well at Bayern and Could be there next Manager

At first I was like no mate are you crazy he has honor he wouldn't betray Dortmund like this would he ? But then I thought but imagine if he did and the more I thought about it the more it made sense Maybe Klopp will go Bayern I even started to convince myself it wouldn't be that bad lets be fair it not like he hasn't managed there players before is it lol. With this in Mind were now left asking the question were will he go ?

In all honestly as much as i think him going to Bayern is an interesting thought i think it will stay that way as  I do think he will end up in the Premier League and I think He will improve it as he is such a likable Character and a great Manager any club would be proud to have him lead there team.

What do you Guys Think were will Jürgen Klopp go next Leave comments Below

Gareth Bale Show Him Love

OK so you've probably heard or even seen the abuse Gareth Bale is getting from his own fans yes his own fans and quite frankly i think its really random. Bale has scored in every major cup final that he's played for Madrid and on two occasion's it been either the winning goal or the decisive goal to turn the game. So why do they boo him now ?

Well to be fair we all know that Real Madrid fans expect top form every game no matter what and a 1-0 home win to them is like a draw its not good enough. This isn't the first time Madrid have turned on people it seems to be something they do quite often you only have to look at Di Maria to know that everyone is replaceable at Madrid even Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has reportedly said he isn't interested in Madrid he even was reported in saying 'Madrid treat players like wash clothes they get a new one and when there done with it they throw it away' so its a known fact in football that Madrid can turn on players once the form dips or even in some cases when someone newer and shiny comes along.Saying that Bale struggled over the last couple of weeks however really the whole team have but Bale seems to be getting the blame and boy have they jumped on him and in turn that has made him struggle even more which i can't blame him if my own fans boo'ed and jeered me constantly id probably  ring my agent and be like mate we gone id be looking at them like really....... (the below picture explains how I'd look and feel)

My reaction if fans boo'ed me

But it's true the Madrid fans really need to start showing him love I no this season he has dipped a little bit but he still has 16 goals and lets be honest he only dipped more once the fans boo'ed him.
We also have to take in to account that this is a lad that's got to play besides Cristiano Ronaldo who has more goals than games for Real Madrid of course you're going to struggle if they compare you to him. Not that it's Cristiano's Ronaldo fault he is a legend and in my opinion the best in the world so anyone would struggle. But the point is Bale doesn't have an easy act to follow in fact it must be really hard knowing you cost more than a guy who has broken a load Real Madrid records in 6 years.

So what will he do ? well only Bale himself knows that I reckon he will wait it out and not give up on his Madrid Career because there's no doubt he has the talent to warrant a place there. He also knows as quick as the fans were to boo him they will also cheer once he starts scoring goals again.
but if he does want to leave I would happily accept him at Man Utd if he wants i'll even go pick him up and i promise I would never boo him i'd build him a statue if it kept him happy not that it would be very good as i have no experience in building statues but i'd try lol

But seriously i do think the Madrid fans should give Bale a break at the end of the day fans all over the world would welcome him at there clubs as he is one of the worlds top players.

What do you people think let me know :)

Forza Juventus Forza Juventus !!!

Ok so yeah there's no denying I'm a huge fan of Juventus yes My team is Man utd but i always have time for Juve and there a team i like to see do well unless there playing Man utd lol.

last night in the champions league Juventus took a big step in there quest for European Success they beat Dortmund 3-0 away from home following there 2-1 victory at home. Why was this a big step ?
well Juve are a team that are growing into there stature they have dominated Italian Football for the last four seasons and now last night they showed signs of carrying that form into the Champs League. now yes i no there will be alot of people saying ' bro you're getting carried away' but i don't care i really do see them being a surprise package this season.

Now obviously to win the champs league you need a lot of things to go your way you need a nice draw a fresh team and the odd decision to go in your favor so i understand it ain't always easy but Juve certainly have the ingredients to go all the way. so what makes me so sure ? well here's 3 reasons why i think they got what it takes.

1. Allegri Has Brought A Knowledge To The Power

Now to all you Juve fans before you get all upset i'm not saying Antonio Conte did'nt leave a great team  he did ! and i'm not saying they didn't play good Football under him ! because they did but under Conte its my opinion they were a strong physical team with a lot of steal and determination and yes they won Serie A three times in a row but sometimes they lacked that Tactical awareness and in Europe they seemed to get caught out since Allegri has come in he has put his own touch on the team and made them a little bit more tactical and a little bit smarter in moments of pressure he's not afraid to change things up which was proved last night. When Pogba came off he read the situation and changed the system and it worked Juve went on to score another 2 Goals. That's why I believe With Allegri's added tactical wit he really could be the Key to this team's Champs League success.

2. Strong Core Of Class

When you look at the Juve team what strikes you with fear the most is there core. Now when i say core i'm taking about the strength through the center of the team now world class wingers are great and everyone wants the wide player to be exciting and makes things happen but its always hard to beat a team with a great core and when you look at Juve they have just that. they have a world class player in the middle of the pitch in all Four Key area's. They have Tevez up front a player that leads the line with his mix of skill and hard work plus the fact that since signing for Juve he seems happy playing football again and his levels are back to there best. They have Pogba in the middle and any one that read my last blog entry know's how much  i love Pogba and who wouldn't  he is awesome. They then have Giorgio Chiellini at the back an actual boss in defending he's really grown up at Juve and has become probably the top Defender in Italy although my Guess is Daniele Rugani will one day surpass him but that's another story however right now Chiellini is a player most teams would welcome in there squad. and then to top it off they have Gianluigi Buffon in goal a legend in goal and yes even though he may no be in the peak he once was he's still one of the best keepers around and having won near enough everything in football he has that winning mentality that all great leaders need and plus he's just a really cool guy. Overall Juve have a team that just oozes class and success i no I've only mentioned three players and there's still the likes of Pirlo and Vidal plus Bonucci all of whom are top players not to mention the like of Morata and Pereyra who look like awesome future prospects. and Evra a legend in his own time but you get the point Juve's core is strong and will take a lot to beat.

3. Winning Mentality

When you win titles it doesn't only give you great joy it also adds a steal and a mentality and great players and mangers take success and build on it they don't settle on what they got they go for more. It's this kind of attitude i see within the Juve squad they've won Three Serie A in a row and yet this season they still have the passion and desire to win it again they didn't sit back and think 'yeah this will be easy' they've worked hard and improved even more to make sure they stay on top. It's this sort of attitude that makes me believe Juve Can win the Champs league there a team that is driven by it's own success they never stand still there always pushing to improve and this season the Champs League is there stage to make a statement and prove there not just a good Italian team there a good European team.

So Yeah these are my Juve thought's and opinions i do beleive that have what it takes and i think this year they will surprise us all. what do you think ? Comment below and tell me you're top Champs league teams and who you think will win.
